Tech Workers Coalition Bay Area
We are building tech worker power in the Bay Area: to win better working conditions and a real say in how the technology we build impacts our communities and the world.
We focus on community building, political education, and hands-on organizing training. Our goal is to equip ourselves and our fellow tech workers to take effective collective action.
We host regular in-person events in San Francisco, the East Bay, and (most recently) the South Bay. We also gather digitally on Slack, Signal, and Zoom. Join us!

About Us
- Who is this for? We are workers in and around the tech industry, labor organizers, community organizers, and friends. If this sounds like you, you’re welcome here!
- What are we working on? We have active working groups focused on political education for tech workers, pushing back against tech militarism and mass surveillance, community building, and organizing in our workplaces.
- When do we meet? We host regular social meetups, reading groups, chapter meetings, and political education events (often in partnership with aligned orgs). See the calendar below for upcoming events.
